PCB copy board technology implementation process

The first step is to get a PCB. First, record the model, position, and parameters of all the components on the paper, especially the direction of the orientation of the IC chip, the diode, and thetransistor. Its best to use a digital camera to take photos of two component locations. Lots of pcb boards are getting more advanced, The above diode transistors are not noticeable at all. 


The second step, remove all devices and remove the tin from the PAD hole. The PCB is cleaned with alcohol and placed in the scanner. The scanner needs to increase the scanned pixels slightly in order to get a clearer image. The top layer and the bottom layer were then slightly polished with water-based tissue paper, polished until the copper film was shiny, placed in the scanner, and the PHOTOSHOP was started. The two layers were separately scanned in color. Note that the PCB must be vertically and horizontally placed in the scanner. Otherwise, the scanned image cannot be used.


The third step is to adjust the contrast, lightness and darkness of the canvas so that the part with the copper film and the part without the copper film are strongly contrasted. Then turn the subgraph into black and white. Check if the lines are clear, if not, repeat this step. If it is clear, save the picture as black and white BMP format files TOP BMP and BOT BMP. If you find any problems with the graphics, you can use PHOTOSHOP to repair and correct them.


The fourth step, the two BMP format files are converted to PROTEL format files, transferred to two layers in PROTEL, such as over two layers of PAD and VIA basically coincide, indicating that the first few steps to do a good job, if If there is a deviation, repeat the third step. Therefore, pcb copy board is a job that needs a lot of patience, because a small problem will affect the quality and the degree of matching after board copying.


The fifth step is to convert the BMP of the TOP layer to TOP PCB. Note that the layer to be converted to the SILK is the yellow layer. Then you trace the line at the top layer and place the device according to the drawing of the second step. After drawing, delete the SILK layer. Repeat until you have drawn all the layers.


In the sixth step, TOP PCB and BOT PCB will be transferred in PROTEL.


In the seventh step, use a laser printer to print TOP LAYER and BOTTOM LAYER on transparencies (1:1 ratio), put the film on the PCB, and compare if there is something wrong. If it is correct, you will be done. well-pcba is the leading EMS manufacturer in China


A copy board like the original board was created, but it was only half completed. Tests are also conducted to test whether the electronic technology of the board is the same as that of the original board. If it is the same then it is really done.
